Static-99R:
Sexual recidivism risk assessments are increasingly utilized in a variety of behavioral health, correctional, and court settings. The Static-99R is one of the most commonly used sexual offense-specific risk assessment instruments in the world.
This session will provide an overview of the development and research of the Static-99R, item-by-item instructions for scoring the tool, and appropriate interpretation and use within varying settings. Case studies will be utilized to facilitate practice throughout the training as well.
STABLE-2007 & ACUTE-2007:
Comprehensive risk assessment incorporates the use of both static (e.g., Static-99R) and dynamic risk assessment instruments. The STABLE-2007 & ACUTE-2007 are some of the most commonly used dynamic sexual offense-specific risk assessment instruments within behavioral health, correctional, and court settings.
This session will provide an overview of the development and research of the STABLE-2007 & ACUTE-2007, item-by-item instructions for scoring the tools, and appropriate interpretation and use within varying settings. Case studies will be utilized to facilitate practice throughout the training and to learn to avoid common administration errors.
